NEW BLOOMFIELD The New Bloomfield R-3 School District Board of Education will hear from Cory Bextermueller, of Navigate Building Solutions, during their meeting at 6 p.m. today in the district boardroom.
He will provide information to the Board of Directors regarding the replacement of the elementary school gymnasium floor, Task Order #6, playground renovations and more.
Members will also hear from Tony Hancock, a representative of the Agricultural Education Advisory Committee, who will provide recommendations to the Board of Directors from the last meeting of the Agricultural Advisory Committee.
The Council will look to:
• Approval of Task Order Number 6 from Navigate Building Solutions relating to the replacement of the elementary school gymnasium floor.
• Approval of the audit report for the year 2020-21 from Mueller, Walla & Albertson PC as presented.
• Revision of 2021 map data.
Board members will also hear annual reports from Laura Thomas, a preschool teacher at Little Cats.
Director of Nutrition Services Alicia Wise will also provide a monthly report on Food Services.
New Bloomfield Middle and High School Principal Paul Claudright and Elementary Principal Jennifer Fletcher will report monthly to the Board of Directors on enrollment, attendance, professional development, and other news and recognition.
Supervisor Sarah Wisdom will speak to the Board about monthly finances, education partners, utilities, COVID-19 and the winter weather.
Under the legacy business, board members will consider COVID-19 cases in the area, community use of buildings, safe return to personal instructions and service plan continuity.
